The Ridgeline dick-suckery is getting old.

I don’t own a truck, and I can’t imagine ever needing a truck enough that it would make sense to buy one, but if I did need it, I’d buy a Ridgeline.
Er, on second thought, maybe I’m not the best demographic to target, Honda. :/

Just make note of it for his annual review.

Day 100, I still don’t see the point of it.
If you want a small truck, buy a Tacoma. If you want a big truck, buy a something else.

Two articles in three days, one of which opens with a line that is critical to the ridgeline hardly qualifies as ‘dick-suckery’.

How about that Ford Raptor, eh?

The Ridgeline is for people who need a truck but don’t want to own one. Just like the Subaru Baja was back in the day, I think it’s best to call it a pick-up and not a “truck” as it seems people just get mad about it.

Wagon, minivan.... There’s limitless other possibilities.

they should just call it a four door UTE and then everyone would worship at it’s alter.

Is the mj a sport ruck Or a spor truck? Either way that graphic has always bothered me.

Yeah, but they have a roof over the back, this one lets you put tall stuff without worries, such as large plants or construction materials. Also surfboards and bikes in the back without the need of carrying on the roof or getting your trunk dirty.
And you still get a car that is as comfortable and capable as the SUV it’s based on.

Make unibody trucks great again!
I’d be into the Ridgeline if it had solid axles.

The Ridgeline is perfect for somebody that has already had 2 Civics and a CR-V, with 100k miles on each and zero problems, and is now truck-curious. They just bought a house and have a child or two, and want to do Truck Stuff, but don’t want a non-Honda.
It will definitely sell, but mostly to existing Honda owners. There will be very few people trading in a full size or Tacoma on one.
